Hey, y’all! I’m Kaysan (he/him), your AUS VP Administration this year. I’m a fourth-year international student from Jakarta, Indonesia, majoring in Political Science.

Aside from overseeing the AUS’s Operations, Governance, and Sustainability departments with the rest of the team, I’d probably be cat-sitting, museum-hopping, boba-tasting, thrifting, or recreating my dream apartment in the Sims 4.

This is my fourth year in the AUS, which has since been my home away from home. I’m excited to connect with students about all the exciting things the AUS has to offer. The Administration Portfolio has so many initiatives in-store – making our Arts Student Centre a lively hub, upholding transparency in AUS Council, and providing various Food Hub services to name a few. Hello UBC Arts! I’m Khushi Nanda, a second-year student currently pursuing the B+MM program with a major in Psychology. I am excited to serve as your VP Finance!

I joined the wonderful community back in my first year as the Reimbursement Director, transitioning into the Associate Vice President Finance and now elected as your Vice President Finance. This journey has been really invaluable in shaping my personality and skills.

Being an outgoing person, I love to meet new people and building a stronger community. Outside of AUS, you’ll often find me chasing sunsets, grabbing boba, listening to Bollywood music, or watching inspirational documentaries.

I look forward to working tirelessly for the AUS, making sure that our financial resources are allocated efficiently, transparently, and responsibly to best serve our student body. Hi UBC Arts! I am Ester (she/her), your VP Engagement for this year! I am in my 2nd year, planning to major in Economics and minor in Commerce. Since 5th grade, I have loved media and cameras, so I am excited to take charge of everything related to AUS media, marketing, and merchandise! I am also working in marketing for UBC Work Learn.

Outside of marketing, you will find me chatting about business analytics, economic research, petting dogs, cooking, or binge-watching Netflix while lighting up my vanilla candles at 1 AM.

I joined AUS in my first year on the First Year Committee, and it was one of the best decisions I have made—I found an amazing community that became my closest friends! Hi UBC Arts! My name is Nargess (she/her) and I’m excited to be your VP Student Life! I am a second year Sociology major and Journalism and Social Change minor.

I served on the Student Life Portfolio last year as well, and am passionate about event planning and fostering community-forward initiatives for Arts Students. I’m looking froward to hosting a calendar of events, including longstanding AUS staples as well as establishing new traditions. I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to be involved in enhancing our ever growing Arts community!

Hi UBC Arts! My name is Sarah (she/her) and I’m super excited to be your Vice President External this year! I am in my fourth year, studying in the B+MM program with a major in International Relations.

This is my third year in the AUS and I’m so grateful to be able to serve the incredible Arts community. I look forward to all of the amazing events and initiatives that the External Portfolio has in store for this year, including the digital Purple Card, Women’s Day Event, Philanthropy Grant, and so much more. Some of my interests include hiking, trying new restaurants, reading, and running!
