Hey, y’all! I’m Kaysan (he/him), your AUS VP Administration this year. I’m a fourth-year international student from Jakarta, Indonesia, majoring in Political Science.

Aside from overseeing the AUS’s Operations, Governance, and Sustainability departments with the rest of the team, I’d probably be cat-sitting, museum-hopping, boba-tasting, thrifting, or recreating my dream apartment in the Sims 4.

This is my fourth year in the AUS, which has since been my home away from home. I’m excited to connect with students about all the exciting things the AUS has to offer. The Administration Portfolio has so many initiatives in-store – making our Arts Student Centre a lively hub, upholding transparency in AUS Council, and providing various Food Hub services to name a few. Hey! I’m a 3rd year Creative Writing and B+MM student and thrilled to be in my second year at the AUS. As Senior Director of Internal Affairs, my top priority is making sure AUS volunteers have the best time and are as supported as possible to serve the entire Arts student body.

I’m in charge of all things Internal, overseeing the Human Resources and Internal Development departments. Together, we boost AUS internal culture and support volunteers through team-building events such as the AUS Retreat, inter-Portfolio initiatives such as the Purple Star Program, and volunteer resources such as onboarding Orientations.

Hi UBC Arts! I am Ester (she/her), your VP Engagement for this year! I am in my 2nd year, planning to major in Economics and minor in Commerce. Since 5th grade, I have loved media and cameras, so I am excited to take charge of everything related to AUS media, marketing, and merchandise! I am also working in marketing for UBC Work Learn.

Outside of marketing, you will find me chatting about business analytics, economic research, petting dogs, cooking, or binge-watching Netflix while lighting up my vanilla candles at 1 AM.

I joined AUS in my first year on the First Year Committee, and it was one of the best decisions I have made—I found an amazing community that became my closest friends! Hello Everyone! My name is Lilly (she/her) and I’m so excited to be your Vice President Student Life this year!! I will be entering my fourth year majoring in honours Art History. (Talk to me about Monet plz <3)

Last year I joined the AUS as a Social Director in the Student Life portfolio and had the most wonderful experience creating events such as the Lilac Gala, Craft Nights and TGAS! I’m so grateful to be back this year to innovate and expand the events in the AUS to make YOUR experience the best it can be at UBC. AUS events are an amazing space to make new connections, relax and most importantly have fun. Let me know what you want to see this year :)

Hi UBC Arts! My name is Sarah (she/her) and I’m super excited to be your Vice President External this year! I am in my fourth year, studying in the B+MM program with a major in International Relations.

This is my third year in the AUS and I’m so grateful to be able to serve the incredible Arts community. I look forward to all of the amazing events and initiatives that the External Portfolio has in store for this year, including the digital Purple Card, Women’s Day Event, Philanthropy Grant, and so much more. Some of my interests include hiking, trying new restaurants, reading, and running!
